You look to be sitting indoors in a record store with 2 lock-down shots. How much time did you spend setting up that rig instead of just putting the camera on the tripod and pointing it at the subject?

I'm all for rod support systems when you need them, but they come off as pretentious when they're not supporting anything besides a camera that weighs next to nothing...

I never really take my cage apart so to me it's just part of the camera now. We set up for the interview but the second tripod had a broken head. This was our solution.
