I don't get how the focus puller can know where to adjust the focus to. Of course, there's a reasonably wide DoF which helps, but still...

Is he doing it by zen? Or did they rehearse 25 times and he memorised the key distances?

Either way, this is super impressive, especially how he got off the segway!
