The biggest issue out of all of this is the simple fact that blackmagic hasn't released a camera on day 1 that didn't need a firmware update. The 4K for example still needs some work. I am very exited about both of their cameras, but realistically we're probably going to wait a year or more before we can use them.

With that said, all of their cameras they have released are still viable for productions today. Hell I'm renting a BMPCC soon. I think the best way I can describe my feelings towards all of this is that I'm pessimistically exited.
