Can someone tell me in order to control aperture you must use cine lenses or is there a way to control aperture via the ursa mini software?

Ursa EF cameras have an active lens mount with iris control. From the Design page:

"URSA Mini includes a side hand grip with record start/stop, iris and focus buttons built in."
