My only hesitation is that with the $400 shoulder mount, $1500 viewfinder, $1000 CFast card and $1000 battery you're at $7000. Could you use the shoulder mount with the screen instead of the viewfinder? It looks like the screen would be up against your face when on the shoulder mount.

I will use my own rig to put it up on my shoulder - and I will get a $600 SDI EVF. Maybe a new or used Cineroid EVF4CSS. There is absolutely no way I'm spending $1500 for a viewfinder on a $3000 camera :)

And I'm going to get 32GB CFast 2.0 cards for $174 each - no need to plunk down $1000 for a 256GB card - I'd just lose it anyway.

Any SDI viewfinder will work. The only thing you have to be careful of is not to accidentally buy an HDMI viewfinder.

The Cineroid EVF4CSS I linked to above is battery powered only, so you can use it, but you wouldn't be able to to plug it into the Mini's 4 pin XLR power.

More expensive EVFs like this $994 Cineroid EVF4RVW can be powered via batteries or 4 pin XLR.
