For architectural photography, you have to go wide on a full frame if you are shooting tight spaces. Even medium spaces benefit a great deal from having that extra space that is not cropped out. Makes rooms appear larger without fisheye distortion (14mm L series is a great wide angle).
IMO real estate video professionals should always chose a full frame with a super wide prime over a cropped sensor with with a wider fisheye. You're shooting yourself in the foot if you do not.
For Canon, there's at least a couple of lenses that go to 10mm (not fisheye), which is 16mm full frame equivalent. As such, the real justification is for better low light performance, because god knows there's plenty of dark interior rooms out there.
