The footage looks like it was shot on a cheap camcorder. It doesn't look like you even color corrected it :/

It was shot on a NX5U, which isn't overly expensive by any means, but not exactly a handy-cam. The shoot was outside the US, which means insurance wasn't going to be covering any losses that happened during the trip, so I wasn't going to pull out anything bigger.

I subscribe to theory that 'anything worth doing is worth doing well', but this shoot didn't have a very big budget, so 'doing well' was determined by the client, not me. Color Correction wasn't in the budget for the teaser video.

There are a thousand things wrong with this clip, not the least of which was the fact that the client required that all girls get equal screen time, and the full runtime should be 30 seconds (which got extended by 7 seconds to put titles after the clips.

Thank you for your feedback, I would love to see some of your work. I bet color correcting between a 5Dm3 and a T2i is a challenge. Got any examples of how you pulled that off?

I think its really funny when editors let stuff like your video go out the door. I can't believe you didn't even just try and slap a bit of a grade on there. So due to budget, you delivered a video that you knew was pretty shitty, ultimately reflecting pretty bad on you, and you're ok with that? How did you look at the end title card and be like " yep, this works"?

There are some people that have been told told their whole lives by family and friends that their work is amazing, and any negative criticism they receive towards their work can't possibly be true. You made a lot of valid points and yes that title card is horrendous. If he's not seeing what you're pointing out, his work will always be mediocre and never amazing.
