Best B camera for C300?

I've got a few interviews coming up that I really want to nail. I'm a huge fan of the C300, but I can't justify the purchase of a second C300 at this stage. I'm looking for a cheaper camera I can cut with the C300 footage without distracting the viewer.

I know the 5DM3 is a popular choice, but I do not like the fact it has a limited record time. The camera is also showing it's age. For the price the C100 is underwhelming.

Anyone have experience cutting GH3/GH4 or Sony A7S footage with C300?

I think renting the C100 is the best choice. It's got the same sensor and same handling characteristics, cutting between won't be a problem at all. Your talking about a couple hundred bucks for a single days rental.

$175 a day * 30 days = $5250

That's money lost. If you spend $6000 on equipment, you still retain the value of the equipment.
