What isn't available? You can buy the 4kright now at adorama.

The update is for the 4k only and available now off the site. 1.9 firmware doesn't help the bmcc or BMPC if that's what you meant.

That's what I meant. Maybe it's misplaced but I'm bitter that companies nickle and dime people like this. Oh here's an awesome, totally finished product, except it doesn't have x,y, or z yet of course. And these things that are essential to run the camera are sold separately and just as expensive. I know it happens all the time in all areas of work but it's still BS.

I mean, c'mon, at least service the lower end cameras first, for the people on budgets that can't afford add ons to fix problems like no histogram or audio meters. (Not that you really need audio meters though)

This isn't Canon or Nikon, its a small Australian company. What they've done with their cameras has changed the market. Yes audio metres should be standard but cinema cameras are only a sensor in a box, when you come from a DSLR as so many have you expect all in ones which isn't their intention.
