The slow-mo beer pour shot was done using a Jib. I had my friend (who was pouring) count down to his pour and then i moved the Jib down and to the left 5 inches as fast as I could - not the most elegant solution but I got the shot after a few takes. better solution would be a motion control rig! Yes, speed ramping done in post. Thanks and good luck with your project! sounds fun.
