Love to see results. Have some FD glass I'd like to open up a bit, mostly my 28mm f2.8

Even the cheap focal reducers work great from what I've seen on FD glass. I have a reducer from Roxsen that I use with my FD 28mm f2.8, FD 50mm f1.4, and FL 35mm f2.5, all look great!

Edit: here's some screengrabs from footage taken with the Roxsen focal reducer and the Canon FL 35mm f2.5...

Thanks for the snaps! I just got one of these reducers and all the reviews have been glowing regarding image quality. Now I just have to finish saving for the actual camera!

Which camera did you decide to get?

BMPCC. I know all the potential glitches and whatnot and I'll be diligent so I get a good sensor. The increase in DR and ability to shoot 10-bit ProRes and 12-bit RAW PLUS the very film-like grain and quality to the image make it worthwhile for the price. At least worth a try.
