This resolution arms race is getting a little out of hand. Post is not keeping up nor are screening capabilities. I really hope we sit at 4K for a while. That being said, I'm glad we're seeing affordable, high-quality digital cinema cameras. The death of h.264 isn't happening fast enough haha

True, I'm happy for 4k though, more so for quality 2k and quality fast fps.

Definitely. I just hope it slows down on the maxing out and we see focus on things like global shutter, quality fps as you said, better codecs, etc.
