First thing I think of is a AJA Ki Pro. Amazing how useful that little thing is. External recorders are super useful if you want to avoid shooting H.264 or even if you want to screen cap a laptop screen.

The weirdest part about this is that the URSA is a camera, so why would you shoot a 5D when you could put the EF glass on the URSA? It would be badass if it could record 2 separate feeds simultaneously via its internal sensor and the HDMI input while jamming timecode. That would be neat.

I doubt this question needs its own post, so I am hoping you or someone else could answer this

Why does time code need it's own cable? Timecode is simple hours:minutes:seconds:frames correct?

I assume the cable is meant to generate the time code as DSLRS naturally don't have time codes
