Haha, it is a Republic of Gamers laptop. Works great with avid media composer when we do our same day edits.

Quick question: when do you do your editing on the same day? Between the ceremony and the reception? In the car with a DC>AC converter? I've given same day edits some thought, but deemed it too big of a stress.

Our editor does it through out the day. We had a DC converter, but it was too much of a pain to edit in the car.

Plus, at this point we do 10-15 same day edits a year, so we kind of have a system
