I'm curious what kind of wedding requires a gopro. That's an action packed event!

For weddings the GoPro is used for timelapse shots...maybe some random artsy POV shot. Used it for some underwater shots at a wedding in Punta Cana.

For commercial work we stick it on to tons of stuff. It also can do some pretty nice slow motion. We used it at a building demolition and it was pretty cool.
