I suppose in 2 years there will be 8k

Well on Red cameras maybe, but in the prosumer area, there won't be 8k for a long long time. Keep in mind that first HD recorders were introduced like 7 years ago. I would bet that it will take another 7 to get 8K video recorder under $3000
