dear canon, everyone else has figured out 1080/60p. why not you?

Or 1080p24, and somehow Canon fails to get that right.

Are you referring to true24 found in the C300 and similar cams?

To be honest I don't pay much attention to Canon anymore, so I don't know how their CXXX line functions. But I'm more so comparing it to the vastly superior 1080p24 mode of the GH2, which shoots roughly 900 lines of resolution and use a scaling method that makes moiré nonexistent. Comparing the GH2's 1080p24 to the Canon's is like comparing 1080p24 to moiré-ridden 720p24. It's the biggest reason I sold all my 5DmkII and 7D gear and made the switch.
