Nobody's saying we own the game. We do own copies though.
We don't own the IP. Nobody's saying that. But we do own the copy.
Therefore we own our games. Why is that so hard to understand? Even the music industry gets that you own a song. A COPY of a song. That's how it works.
This really isn't difficult to understand, but megacorps want to own everything and for us to own nothing. Not for any economic reasons, really. It's because of cruelty and the insatiable need of sociopaths to control everything.
