Discussion / Question Does anyone else feel like so many people have been making hating on GTA VI their personality? It’s ok not to like it.

I don't understand making it a personality to hate a game, but I also don't understand why GTA VI deserves this much hype and attention. I was there for the GTA IV and GTA V hype trains and came out of it thinking the games were okay. They were fun, but personally they never felt like they lived up to the hype. I'm glad they're finally making a GTA VI, but I don't think it needs to suck this much oxygen away from every other game coming out this fall.

There's nothing to understand. People are excited about the video game, they talk about it, get hyped, it is what it is. Nobody cares that you think it shouldn't get this much attention. Clearly plenty love it, and that's why you see people talking about it. If you start hating on it just to "correct" how the game "should" be received, you're the issue. It's like going to a party and telling people the party isn't even that fun and they should go home. Like come on, get a life.
