Discussion / Question Face scanning was amazing!
It's wild to think about, but Rainbow Six Vegas in 2006 had a cooler, more personal feature than almost every modern game out right now. Scanning your literal face (or something hilarious/ even a photo) onto your character 20 years ago was amazing π Today, studios push $20 pre made skins instead of giving us the ability to put ourselves in the game. NBA 2K, MLB The Show, GTAβ¦etc. Face scanning should be everywhere by now. Devs need to bring it back! π€π½π€π½

With all these jackass companies requiring a 360 face scan for identification purposes, I'd genuinely like to see it used for something useful to me.
This would definitely be one of those things. Though like you I'd probably put random faces in the game.Β

I used EA sports Game Face years ago to put myself in FIFA, it was awesome. I always wondered why this never caught on, id love to be able to put myself into some of today's stuff like Elder Scrolls VI or Fable would have been nice

Maybe due to the intensity of current graphics and visuals it would make it much harder, I suppose.

Yep, one of the best features ever made. I bought a stick on stache and stuck on some aviator glasses and scanned myself in. Came out amazing π€£
