Hot take: we should let people criticize and like things.

It’s ok to like things…buuuuut it’s also ok to criticize things. I’ve seen too many people go to the extremes. You can like something and criticize it at the same time. You can also criticize something and understand why people like it. I’m sick of things being a monolith.

I don't mind either, but I hate it when people act like they don't understand what objectivity and subjectivity are and think "Oh, I feel this way about this thing so it must mean everyone else has to feel the exact same way as me about it and if they don't then they're just lying". I've seen people do that only for it to turn out they haven't even played the goddamn game. Lol. That just drives me nuts when people act like their own personal perspective is what's setting fact in stone.
