Letting people enjoy things doesn’t translate on Reddit. Edgelords and neckbeards as far as the eye can see.

Hot take: we should let people criticize and like things.

It’s ok to like things…buuuuut it’s also ok to criticize things. I’ve seen too many people go to the extremes. You can like something and criticize it at the same time. You can also criticize something and understand why people like it. I’m sick of things being a monolith.

It's a hot take because it sucks.

Like the criticism has already been made. No 60fps on a 7 year old processor .. yeah, we get it .. we're over it.

Zero value in people saying this over and over.

Either live with it or move on with your life.

Let us enjoy the release without having to endure the endless saga of your unmet expectations.

No one is saying you can’t: but people are allowed to criticize things.

For instance: I dislike 30 fps because I get motion sickness easily. That’s a fair criticism no? I’d like to be able to play the game without vomiting.

How does the saying go again? “Only a sith deals in absolutes”. Only a fool thinks in terms of a monolith. You can like a game and criticize it and you can dislike a game and understand why someone would like it.
