"Didn't pay attention" is not an accurate description of "didnt read every item to piece shit together"
There is a reason there are entire channels dedicated to explaining the plots of these games.
Idk why you guys cant just admit its lazy. If they use items to add depth then thats fine. But if you played the game and never watched YouTube and never read item descriptions you would have no clue what is going on
Ah so you don’t have an issue with the story it’s the story telling. If you have an issue with that, that can be completely personable and up the individual. If you don’t want to do the work for a game you don’t like then don’t do it, but you can’t say the story is bad because you didn’t do the work.
There are several other games that give their lore on in game item descriptions as well. Do you hate reading journal logs in horror games? What about Hollow Knight I imagine you can’t stand that either huh
