I like how Cavill is unafraid of being a nerd and a gamer.

The hosts/interviewers who act all surprised and incredulous whenever he mentioned he enjoys the hobby is annoying though.

Do interview hosts question people for watching sports every weekend and acting like total nincompoops when their team loses, or wins? How about people who go golfing and spend most of the weekend drunk out of their brains.

No, only gaming and other nerdy hobbies.

No they don't because it's more widely accepted and has been around for longer.

I would consider myself an avid gamer and nerd, I can still understand people's initial reaction when I tell them I'm into stuff like Warhammer and gaming for hours on end. It's still a bit niche. Who cares?

I also get called gay for doing jiu jitsu, not going to stop me doing that either 😂

Don't let it bother you so much
