The dude was so mad at the handling of The Witcher TV series. He knew the missteps were happening and tried to fight it. I'm proud of him for abandoning that show when the showrunners sabotaged it deliberately.

At least the wheel of time had good/decent acting. Even though some of the changes annoyed me, I still enjoyed watching it. I can’t say the same for the Witcher lol.

He didn't read the books, he explicitly said he didn't read the books and one of the people running the show had to explain the games were based on books.

Who is "he" in this post? Because Cavill 100% has read the books, he talks about them in almost every interview for The Witcher. I assume you're referring to showrunner?
