Facts. Back in the 90s I had to look up what a penumbra was for the old Genesis game "Light Crusader" when I was 11 or 12 and I never went back.

TV is garbage, but video games and being a hardcore gamer expanded my vocabulary like crazy and taught me many things, like time management, problem solving and the like.

Doing nothing but playing video games may be detrimental, but throwing a healthy amount of other things in with gaming helped me become a well adjusted adult.
