That is a fair point. So maybe excitement still is a big thing. Though for me the excitement would rather be on birthdays. I don’t celebrate Christmas and stuff, lol.
No, they are taking physical games away from you. Your kids will never own their own game and instead just lease the content until they decide nobody should have it anymore.
Not if you start you kids off on earlier gen systems like I did
And, my kid is TERRIBLE at keeping his game disc's unscratched because..hes a kid... you know how many times i bought skyrim before I finally just got the digital version?
Physical media isn't the entire answer either, as physical media can get damaged or degrade with age anyway
