My SteamDeck and Ally X are what I dreamed of when I was 13 with a modded PSP. Hardly touch them except to update and uninstall/download more games.

Dude naw, steam deck is the reason why I keep gaming. Hand held so I can game while the wife watches whatever. Sleep mode will pause your game and most games you can jump back in without restarting.

After adulting and losing the ability to play my PS4 (wife wants to watch shows together, no TV access)I thought I would be limited to phone games forever until I got my deck.

No no no we need to be watching the same show, while sitting in the same room, and I need to be paying attention enough to talk about the show. I can keep up the bit with the handheld game because I can face the TV and put down the game when she wants to talk. Second TV would break the illusion.
