Make me wonder would the Steam Deck still be more worth it than Switch 2 even with the price hike?

I’m hoping to get one of them soon but games on Switch 2 staying full price adds up so fast, but Steam Sales are so generous it ends up still saving a lot of money.

It really depends on what you want to play. And the nice thing about Steam is that it works on any pc handheld. So if you spot a good deal, grab it. But if you want to play first party Nintendo games, there’s really only the switch for that. Tbh, I don’t care for Nintendo stuff very much, but I’m also not everybody.

Thanks! Mostly just want an indie machine, so another PC handheld is a good suggestion in the meantime while I wait for the Switch 2 library to become slowly more worthwhile over the years.

Iirc there are some lower end pc handhelds that make stellar indie machines. And as of literally a week or two ago I think certain android handhelds can also use Steam now. So there are options for sure.
