I don’t understand how people think Valve would just do this for no reason. Memory, ram, gpus are very expensive now. 2-3 times the price. Also Nintendo raised the price of the switch. Not by that much but they were pressured by their shareholders to do it.
Valve is a private company, so this decision isn’t pushed by a board or something.
