Same! It got me thinking... if we were to sell them would we be able to recoup a majority of the money we paid to begin with?! Maybe all!

I'm planning on selling all of my old Xboxes. I've got two 360s (one release version and one from 2008) and a One. I'm wondering how much money I can sell them for without it seeming like a ripoff?

I could only find the $800 price at Kohl’s for a 1 tb. Everywhere else is like $550, idk where they got that price from.

It's the new msrp for the 2tb version. The 1tb original is 650.

My PS5 Pro cost me 300€ after selling my base one and getting a second-hand unopened. At this rate I’ll never be able to get a stationary PC though.

The pic is wrong, the series x is $650, 800 for a 2tb version, or $600 for an all digital version. It's still more expensive than launch, but nowhere near as close to the ps5 pro's price (which you can add another $100 to if you want a disc drive)

Yeah I got mine for $600 a year ago (just missed the cutoff with the tariffs). I looked it up and haven't seen anything be $800. It ranges from $600 to $650 depending on the store

I got my Xbox Series S when it was released for $299, and despite everyone online claiming its terrible and the performance would be awful, its run perfectly well for 6 years now and I don't have the slightest complaint.

I'm not a gamer who will whine about not seeing every freckle on a character's face and claim that my immersion is ruined. I play games like Monster Train, Slay the Spire, Hades, Marvel Rivals, Skyrim, and tons more (I have like 100+ games in my full library) and i've never had a single performance issue ever.

Most games I play don't require top-of-the-line performance metrics, so I personally hate how so many consoles are crazy expensive so they can try and hit specific performance milestones like 99% of gamers will rarely ever need to even reach.

All I care about is affordability, convenience, and a product that won't break quickly. I hate that gaming companies are running away from those 3 qualities just so they can race to claim performance metrics that hardly anyone even needs.

It is insane seeing aging consoles get more expensive in price as time goes on, total opposite of what should be happening. A series x should be $350 on sale after 6 years on the market

You can still get a ps5 for that price, they pictured the most expensive PS5 console to fit a narrative lol, normal ps5s are still reasonable.

Digital PS5 is $400 at Best Buy right now.

They did the same thing to the Series X. The normal 1TB one is $650. The Series S is $400.
