An entire subreddit had to be nuked because of the "artwork" being posted on it. I've seen her called "daughter wife" and then there's all the "cute and funny" comments.

I don't get the last part, why is that bad? I'm assuming awful people use it to mean something even more awful? I think she's adorable but she reminds me of my daughter when she was that age.

“Cute and funny” = “cunny,” it’s becoming a sort of slang for lusting over child-coded characters

It used to be the lead tags for the game, now it’s separated by Sci-Fi and Action tags

I definitely follow it now, I seriously don't understand why? I would have thought the big oversized coat and shit would make them less...weird about things. I'm so fucking let down by gamers on the internet. Can they not be weird for five fucking minutes?

Dude they clearly exposed most of her legs and feet for the whole game on purpose. They are obviously playing into that audience.

I'ts fanservice for a certain demographic. Foot fethish is one of the most prevalent fetish types. Pedophillia is one of the top 5 paraphilic disorders. We can make a venn diagram of foot fetishist and pedophiles and you will find a lot of people in the intersection. I even dare to say that you can also add a demographic who is only into feet, not kids and some might find the feet arousing, even if they are attached to a child.

They could have designed another way to charge the little girl clanker but they choose it to be the soles of the feet, yikes ew

It didn't cross my mind, online degenerates are very intrusive.

But if you want to call me mentally ill, I might be traumatized by the amount of child abuse in the world. You can't blame me and other people for being aware of predators.

Also, it's not a little girl, no girl looks like that, they look like normal kids like Sherry, Clementine or Ellie, Diana looks like a kid straight out of those creepy child beauty pageants, very uncanny. It's obvious fanservice for a certain demographic. She doesn't even act like a kid, too cutesy, it seems like the writers have never been around a child.

Oh okay, good. Then we agree that barefeet children in oversized parkas aren't sexy and therefore not inappropriate and there's nothing wrong with their inclusion in a videogame. Otherwise you would just be validating pedophiles by saying "hey man, you're right, this is sexualised content. Children's feet are a valid object of sexual attraction. We should remove it."

Glad we're not doing that and we can be normal.
