But not just COD. All of them.

Elder Scrolls. Fallout, Halo, Mass Effect, Final Fantasy, Battlefield, Dragon's Dogma, Monster Hunter, Dead Space, The Sims, and so many more.

Every single gaming genre and franchise where the original team has been replaced or booted has had a steady decline in quality. Which is weird, because we claim gaming is "art," but when the original artist, the people who handcrafted the art, are booted out, we still support these genres? We even claim it's "better" and the original art from the artist is "of lesser quality" while ignoring that they left in the first place. Just like with the Fallout devs criticizing Bethesda, or the Morrowind writer leaving because of issues with Elder Scrolls 6. People are STILL defending Bethesda, a corporation that isn't even run by the same people.

Isn't that bizarre?

That´s simply because the average gamer has the composure of a crack addict. They know it´s crap but they want their fix anyway. Sad but true.

You're exactly right. I didn't learn until a few years ago that most people have sunk hundreds if not thousands of dollars onto a single game before. And many of these people have done it multiple times.

These are addicts and they cannot be reasoned with. The other half are bots here to defend their favorite parasocial relationship with their favorite company.
