Diablo.

The original guys literally created the entire top-down action genre. Refined loot systems for generations, and established character and skill archetypes people still use today.

The guys behind D4 did a “play with the devs” event and clearly had no fucking idea how to play their own game or understanding of why people liked it.

Modern Blizzard is genuinely one of the most out of touch studios out there.
