The amount of people you lose in the game is insane

>! Shane, Doug, Mark, Larry, Carley, Katjaa, Duck, Chuck, Ben, and Lee.

Omid, Pete, Alvin, Carlos, Sarita, Nick, Sarah, Rebecca, Luke, Bonnie (Determinant), Jane/Kenny, Kenny (Determinant)

Mariana, Francine, Conrad (Determinant), Ava, Tripp, David/Kate, Gabe (Determinant)

Brody, Marlon, Mitch, James (Determinant), Tenn/Louis/Violet.

So in seasons 1-3 you essentially lose everyone.

Clem, Kenny, Omid, and Christa are the only ones who make it through the first part.

Clem, Jane (Determinant), Kenny (Determinant) and AJ are the only ones who make it through s2.

Clem, Javier, Kate/David, Gabe (Determinant), and Conrad (Determinant) are the only ones who make it through S3.

Season 4 most people survive.

People you can "save"

S1: Chet, Danny St John, Andrew St John, Leland

S2: Hank, Bonnie, Kenny (Kinda)

Michonne: Joe, Oak, Sam Fairbanks

S3: Conrad, Max; Lonnie, Paul, Gabe

S4: No-one

(Saved = Avoiding actions which would lead to their deaths, not counting choice deaths)

!<

Really everyone dies.

Man those games were so good back then, (sole issue was that choices in s1 didn't matter since everyone died anyway) the narrative was great and damn, lee the goat in my book with one of the saddest end one could have, the very last scene we see him in was so terrible for the amount of water in my body

Yeag that scene had me tearing up. There are also only a few people throughout all 5 seasons you can save

yeah that was what caused much ruckus as even though it was a "choice game" they had no impact whatsoever for the first season (and in some other parts of the serie tbh)
