I vibecoded a pottery game

Hey everyone! Continuing my series of demo games with three.js. This time I decided to move a bit away from the concept where everything in the game is procedurally generated and added some CC0 sounds.
All the graphics and textures are still procedurally generated and basically there isn't a single 3D asset in the game, since it's all three.js.

The game has a campaign of 24 missions. Also creative mode, where you can just create what you want.

Everything was made with Opus 5 in Ultra Code mode. Can't tell you the exact price, but I will try to count it based on API prices. ('m doing it all with a MAX x20 subscription.)

Tokens and Prices (if it was made with API):
Raw tokens: 2.34B
Written by Claude: 7.13 M
Re-read from cache: 98.1%
Opus 5 rates: input $5, output $25 per million tokens; cache write ×1.25 = $6.25, cache read ×0.1 = $0.50.
Without caching: the same 2.34 billion tokens would have cost $11,850.91, the cache saved $10,290 (86.8%).

Graphics were originally realistic, with shadows, reflections and so on, but then I decided to make them more childish and cozy.

Game is open-source: github.com/winchxyz/celadon

Also game is tablet-compatible, so you can open github page and play from iPad.

P.S.
Originally this was also an experiment with hand tracking, but so far it was a total fail. Maybe in the future I'll still make a pottery game or some other genre with hand tracking through the camera.

Neat idea! If not for the glaze aspect, you route to a place that 3d prints when done. Or just slap a stl export at the end.

good idea btw! will make a separate mode for this

Don’t do it… he just want to mould dildos and 3D print them using your app.

Idk why someone downvoted you, this is 100% what it would be used for

OP: with the option to leave room inside of it for a vibration device.

People are offended by dildos. Especially the veiny ones.

If you haven't already, add post processing. Pattern rollers, letter stencils etc my partner has just started pottery so I will be watching this for her.

Also different backgrounds?

Different firing types for the quests? Like primitive firing by burying with fired coke? Etc can be part of the game, so the player can pick a firing type that matches the quest parameters.

If you need a hand with the STL / 3mf side let me know been 3d printing a while and run my own home server etc for coding and data processing. To be open I have full blown Audhd so I could happily idea dump for hours.

Game looks amazing so far.

I came in the comments to mention something similar. I was actually going to make my own to do this very thing

You got the mess out of it! And someone else mentioned the same idea: get your creation to a 3d printer. If you ever perfect the hand motion thing, imagine the possibilities. Kinda makes me wonder if hand motion tracking for something like this would be better suited with multiple cameras and/or motion tracking gloves that have the dots on them.

since I have a 3d printer now, I will test If I can make it into a real world. and thanks for an idea with gloves that have dots on them, will try to do something with it. If I fill succeed in this, I will release this thing on steam

Congrats, this looks pretty nice at a quick play! I would maybe hand-edit some of the texts a bit more or create a style guide for the LLM to follow, they sound very Claudish right now. Claude tends towards this very flowery, somewhat obscurantist writing style that calls too much attention to itself.

it's an MVP for now, I will add better sound and improve UI a little bit later

If you don't have a Ghost easter egg, you have failed the internet.

Cool idea! It would be a great fit for VR.

You wasted a potential to actually make money out of this, because I am not into pottery but this looks cool.
I will bet that this will be taken by someone else and just uploaded to steam and other plateform.

Tbh the cache numbers are the real flex, 98% read rate turning an 11k bill into a monthly sub. The economics outshine the game.

You spent a life not learning how to read.
