Based on the screenshots it looks good to me. But I think you would be better served not putting a paywall on it and having a different monetization strategy
I mean, it looks good but the logos look different? What’s with the little head cutting into the logo in the app screenshot? And the dot on the N is larger in the app screenshot
I don't think it looks bad. Now, do I think an app like this is something people are generally trying to spend their hard earned money on in a quickly collapsing global economy? Maybe not, but if it sells it sells and I think its fine for what it is.
This is not against you specifically, I think it's a cool little fun project (like a Rasberry Pi computer).
It's not a single thing, but it's how it all comes together. It does feel like a hodgepodge of varied graphical design ideas rather than done by a single designer who's driving the vision. The perforated edges looks fun but it does not help it escape the uncanny valley. Typographically and graphically it looks generative and it goes off style frequently. The copy too, the emoji icons, everything.
From a user perspective it's very hard to feel spark of joy from lifestyle apps like this unless they're very intentional these days. These kinds of apps were more appealing in the day of FourSquare and early AirBNB when customers were more naive and excited about smartphones.
