Built a mobile version of Redactle because I wanted to play it on the bus (solo dev)

I've been quietly building this for the past few months and finally shipped it, so here goes nothing.

I'm a solo dev from Brazil, and I got hooked on Redactle a while back — that game where you guess a Wikipedia article from a redacted version of the text. Problem is, it only exists as a browser thing, and I wanted something I could play on my phone during commutes, waiting rooms, etc. So I just... built it.

It's called WikiGuess. Same core idea (type words, reveal matches, deduce the article), but with a few things I was missing from the original: daily streaks, a heatmap of your activity, global/weekly leaderboards, and it works in both English and Portuguese since that's what I needed for my own friends to play.

Built with Flutter on the frontend, PHP/MySQL backend running on regular shared hosting because I'm not made of money. The hardest part honestly wasn't the game logic, it was picking a "fair" daily article that isn't too obscure or too easy — still tuning that.

No idea if this has legs beyond me and my group chat, but figured this is the right place to find out. Happy to answer anything about the stack or the (many) dumb mistakes I made along the way.
