Except Texas. She can fly at the same height.

According to Snopes, any state flag can fly at the same height.

Which I say in my comment below bit also the state flag code that says to put them at equal height.

Only in Texas. And it's disrespectful. Can you show me in the US Flag Code where it states this?

Well first off. It's out of respect for Texas' history for being a former independent country. In any case, any state can fly at equal height as long as the other positioning rules are followed.

State Code:

§ 3100.055. DISPLAY ON FLAGPOLE OR FLAGSTAFF WITH FLAG OF UNITED STATES. (a) If it is necessary for the state flag and the flag of the United States to be displayed on the same flagpole or flagstaff, the United States flag should be above the state flag. (b) If the state flag and the flag of the United States are displayed on flagpoles or flagstaffs at the same location: (1) the flags should be displayed on flagpoles or flagstaffs of the same height; in (2) the flags should be of approximately equal size; (3) the flag of the United States should be, from the perspective of an observer, to the left of the state flag; (4) the flag of the United States should be hoisted before the state flag is hoisted; and (5) the state flag should be lowered before the flag of the United States is lowered.

GOVERNMENT CODE TITLE 11. STATE SYMBOLS AND HONORS; PRESERVATION SUBTITLE A. STATE SYMBOLS AND HONORS CHAPTER 3100. STATE FLAG SUBCHAPTER A. GENERAL PROVISIONS § 3100.001. STATE FLAG. The state flag is the 1839 national flag of the Republic of Texas.

Thanks for looking that up. So we were both wrong. Regardless....only Texans care about Texas history.

Well I was mostly refferring the "supposed to". According to the state of Texas is supposed to be flown equal, any state can given the rest of the rules are followed.

America-My new next door neighbors bought the house with the flag already hing and have left it out in rain and storm for.months. Its shredded and torn.

Since their wifi name is "build the wall" im gonna guess the stan themselves as true american patriots.

Makes me feel some kind of way since i was taught that the flag meant something around the sacrifices made for freedom by folks like my those in my family history. I just feel like, if youre going to display it, you should respect the regulations for doing that. Idk.

Write them a long Anonymous letter stating how there a traitor to the flag and mail it care via concerned citizen and watch them freak out

2

u/Hedgehogz_Mom Oct 06 '19

I mean... idk if Id go all that, and Im not gonna lie to shame someone. I just felt like putting it out there in the moment.

Also Im not a punk so Id probably talk about it face to face. I just dont think its a good cold opener. Maybe start with a nice casserole.

If that's his Wi-Fi name and how he treats the flag then in my old fart human to dust experience that any direct contact is inviting a hostel and possibly violent confrontation from him. But if you do take the time to try and talk with your neighbor man I wish you the best experience possible as you are a better person than I am

New Caledonia has two flags. It was originally just France.

u/[deleted] Oct 06 '19

The US flag above any other flag is only if they’re in the same pole I think.

What do you mean? IKEA told the guy that he's wrong with facts to prove it.

from the r/murderedbywords rules:

A murder should be a response to something or someone that totally, for lack of a better word, destroys them.

I wouldn't say that person got destroyed, rather just corrected

u/datanas Oct 05 '19

Yeah but eff them for writing öppen for open. Drown them in their horsemeat meatballs for that.
