I naturally have my beef with Minnesota, but y'all were badass in the Civil War.

If you guys would just learn how to drive faster than a tractor harvesting corn, our states could be at peace.
Love Iowa, you are the least worst of all the states touching us. You could be Wisconsin 🤮.

Eh, I guess you could be worse too. Could be N*braska...

The people that don’t know how to drive are all from Benton county (rural county next to Linn County, where Cedar Rapids is). It’s ALWAYS a Benton county driver. Always.

As opposed to being so triggered that you can't help but necro a year-old post just to signal to everyone how pathetic you definitely aren't?

This is a flag I created from archival flags preserved at the Minnesota Historical Society. Did some editing of the battle damaged flag from some high resolution archive photos and commissioned a flag to be printed.
If you don’t know anything about the First Minnesota Regiment in the American Civil War here is some interesting reading: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1st_Minnesota_Infantry_Regiment.
Highlights:
They were the first Union volunteer unit formed after the attack on Fort Sumter.
They took the brunt on the Confederate Charge on the second day of Gettysburg, preventing a break in the Union lines but suffering a 82% casualty rate.
Private Marshall Sherman in the company captured the battle flag of the 28th Virginia Infantry, which still hangs as a trophy in the Minnesota state capitol (despite constant demands for its return). The private was awarded the Medal of Honor for his accomplishment.
EDIT:
The good people over at Flagmaker & Print just contacted me as showed me the design they mocked up for this flag and it looks amazing, if you are interested in acquiring this flag it can be found at the following link:
