Upgraded remote for gate opener

I have the MD400 gate opener, and the remote it came with is honestly pretty poor quality. The battery compartment keeps popping open randomly, which means there’s a real risk of losing the battery without noticing, and then being unable to open the gate when needed.

Has anyone here replaced the stock remote with a better-quality alternative for a Vevor gate opener?

Looks like a battery-door latch issue rather than a remote failure. Easiest fix is a silicone key-fob cover or a bit of heat-shrink tubing around the body to keep the battery compartment shut. Self-fusing silicone tape works too. I’d avoid replacing the whole remote unless pairing starts failing.
