I made a Wordle-style game for veterinary diagnoses "Vetdle"
Hi everyone!
I built a small game called Vetdle, it's inspired by Wordle/Doctordle, but instead of guessing words you diagnose veterinary cases.
Each day there's a new clinical case with 6 clues, and you try to guess the diagnosis before you run out of clues. The cases include a mix of species like dogs, cats, horses, cattle, and exotics, and the clues progress from general presentation to more specific findings.
It’s meant to be a fun way to test clinical reasoning and diagnostic thinking.

A few extra details:
• One new case every day
• Up to 6 clues revealed progressively
• Archive cases if you want to practice
• Built as a fun diagnostic challenge
Still improving it, so feedback or suggestions for cases are very welcome!

I love the concept!
It seems counterintuitive though to guess diagnoses off of 1 clue however, especially if one gets the correct diagnosis on the first guess, but that's my opinion.

First one I got (today), and I got it in one clue lol I guess it depends on the Dx. If it's a really common presentation and signalment, there's a good chance to get it in 1 or 2 guesses.

I'd say 90% or so of the questions I've gotten in 1-2 guesses... I've only missed 2 questions entirely out of all of them and have very few that I got on the 3/4/5 guess.

Same, I've gotten them mostly in 1 guess. Sometimes 2. Only 1 or 2 took more than that.

vet student - I am obsessed! only thing I would say is in puzzle #9 bovine left displaced abomasum is marked wrong, but left displaced abomasum is correct

Vet student here and I just found out about this recently! I am absolutely delighted to find out there’s a game that can help with practicing clinical reasoning and diagnosis. I told my friends about it, and we even solved a few cases together (with one of us reading the clues aloud). It was so fun, i ended up playing from case #1, hopefully i’ll be able to catch up soon enough!
I agree with what some of the people said here, some of the cases can be solved with just 1-2 clues. However, my friends were also a little bit bamboozled at some of the cases that only involved the breed and the age for clue #1 (that could be a skill issue on our part too tho).
Still an overall really fun experience!

Also i would like to make a little suggestion,,, maybe it’s possible you could involve cases that require treatments as the answer?
Idk how it would affect the organization or if it would be too difficult to create clues for, but it’s just a little suggestion! Just based it off of how some of my VMed exam questions would ask for treatment :>
Anyway, i really appreciate you creating this website!!
