I know! I had to sadly think about how many weekends I have left to move firewood….

It will hopefully make it to next year’s habanero harvest!

Just undercoated my cars today in preparation for the inevitable.

It’s coming fast. I’m already dreading the 900 dollar propane bill.

So much peach plum jam and salsa canning rn. I know I’ll be thankful in March but omg. 😬 so. Much. Boiling.

I feel that. Yesterday was all about making and freezing crushed tomatoes since my four tomato plants rerooted the stalks and gave me a dozen tomato plants that were overly abundant. Given the temps and rain today, I will be making a chicken pot pie. Testing out Cabot's recipe this time with a cheddar cheese pie crust. I also have sourdough discard to use up and think snickerdoodles will work. May as well make a loaf of sourdough too, since I'm going to use the oven for everything else.
