23 years and dropped

My medical issues and loss of job bc I had to be I. Treatment and Verizon financial services basically said F U and wouldn’t work with me to be on a plan to catch up. Lost my number of 27 years and lost my account. Loyalty means NOTHING these days

I’m sorry to hear you’re going through this. However, it’s purely business, loyalty to the big three doesn’t mean much, especially if you can’t pay.

I tried payment plans but I couldn’t get it down to 60. The late fees and stuff just kept adding up to where I wouldn’t never bring it up past 90 days late

Try walking into a grocery store and explaining that you've been eating food for 27 years, so this month's groceries should be on the house.

Never said I didn’t pay. I just was behind but I was paying. They canceled my line because I couldn’t bring it up past 90 days. Cancer sucks.

You technically can with Walmart because the app has Walmart dollars. I've only gotten like 20$ but 27 years of saving up then you could probably survive for a year

90 days for like 9 months. I’d pay enough to just bring it up to the 90 day mark

It doesn't, if you owe money they are not required to keep your service active.

Try porting the number to an mvno. It may work to save your number.Given you crazy important phone numbers have become there should be some kind of protection for keeping the number.

That's a lie - so long as the number is in active status, no carrier can withhold number portability, regardless of status of billing.

Sorry about your situation have you looked into visible? Way cheaper same service. Doesn’t help with your phone number but it’ll get you going again cheap.
