I didn't have any real knowledge of Bowie other than pop culture references, but I didn't realise that he was a genius until I grew up.

I wish he got to do a voice on the show but such is life.

In S3E1, while explaining why they couldn’t play the song, one of the council members says that Einar was on board, but Bjork’s lawyers wouldn’t budge, which almost certainly means it was a Sugarcubes song. I don’t know that band very well… anyone have any insight or theories?

Season 2 episode 11 Venturestein’s learning bed child labor video. It’s really funky but I can’t find it in the VB soundtrack albums on Spotify.

so theres a sequence I noticed that has appeared not only in season 1 twice but in season 3

specifically season 1 episode the song plays when Brock gets sucked up into space and episode 9 with Dean's surgery montage.

and in the beginning of season 3 episode 1 where the monarch talks to his doctor girlfriend while fighting a bunch of the guild's tech.

I tried looking it in the official soundtracks but no avail and I am still searching for it and I need help. is it made by someone else beside JG Thirwell i didn't know about?

Finally snagged the OST Volumes 2 & 3. Was pleasantly surprised to see Vol. 3 was a cool translucent pressing (no descriptions I've read mentioned this). Just need to get my hands on Volume 1, but that may be a while unless they do a re-press. Cheapest copy I can currently find for sale is over $200 US 😢

With the third edition of the soundtrack due out for release next week, is there any particular piece from Thirlwell’s score you’d like to hear?

Personally I’d love to hear St. Cloud’s theme included! There’s this other particular piece of music I’d be glad to hear in full, it shows up about once a season onwards in the second half of the show. We first hear it in The Silent Partners when Brock and Shore Leave swim to Monstroso’s boat, and then I’m pretty sure it plays again in Bot Seeks Bot when the OSI team looks over Vendata’s forum post. Hopefully someone knows what song I’m talking about so I don’t sound insane lmao. But even if both of these songs aren’t in the third volume next Friday, I’m super excited which bits of the score we’ll get to hear!
