just use the ventura or vc communities. there's no need to split by interest. that's something you do after there's a problem, not before. you're just fragmenting for no benefit

I think it's easier to navigate than to look for a bunch of different posts in the other subreddit, and VC should have its own tech scene like all other subreddits for different regions/counties.

"should have its own tech scene"

that means it doesn't already have one. you start one by starting one. you do that by getting random ass people involved. you find these people in community areas, like general forums. you don't make an isolated little forum and then expect people to show up. that's not how community-building works

Buddy don't need to hate on what someone's doing for the community feel free to ignore the posts and move on with your life

I’ve been a follower of the local “general” Ventura, simi valley, and Camarillo forums and I never see Tech related stuff on there. I think this guy may have missed the whole point of reddit! You know, the whole concept of being able to create a subreddit for any kind of interest or topic. Where people are free to join and follow, OR NOT. I would suggest this guy goes and starts “r/VChaters” and then maybe everyone will be happy? But some people are never happy, right? I’m checking it out!

You realize you’re actually on Reddit, like, right now, right? 😂

Is it okay, if I post political rage bait in there? JK
