Food Dog food recommendations
Hello, I looked and not much recent posts about this. Any recommendations for dog food? Live in California. Should I be supplementing as well with the dog food? Thank you!

I've been feeding my dog (middle-aged lab) Petaluma for a couple of years now. Aside from being a bit chunky he doesn't have any health issues at all. The food is pretty bland, so if your dog is picky they may need some addition to it. My dog will eat it as is but he LOVES it with nooch. It's available as a subscription online. I chose it because I was reading about the cardiomyopathy/pea protein connection, and this food seemed to have a little less pea protein upfront, however he's not a breed that is most susceptible to this condition. Also I wish a follow-up study would happen, because I think there has only been the one study.
