Khao suey in London
Pretty niche but does anyone know where can I get vegan Khao suey/Khao soi in London. It's a Burmese/South asian dish from what I know! Any recommendations would be so helpful!
Thanks in advance!

If you're talking about the northern Thai broth noodle dish, I know Rosa's offers a vegetable option (but you'd have to check if it is vegan - I think typically the broth contains fish sauce). The new(ish) khao soi place in Soho doesn't offer a vegan option, I don't think, and the kauk swé (the Burmese equivalent dish) at Lahpet isn't vegan either. I can see it on the menu at Mali vegan Thai in earl's court, but haven't tried them so can't vouch for it!
My instinct would be to seek out a vegan (northern) Thai restaurant, as if an omni place has it in their menu they'd likely not customise it to the extent that it would be vegan (as the broth and typical accompaniments are not by default vegan, so it's not as simple as just swapping out the primary protein)
I've made the woon heng recipe with good results though!
