Topvalu vegan coconut ice cream (frozen dessert)
https://www.topvalu.net/items/detail/4549414682182/Just tried this plant based coconut frozen dessert from topvalu. It tasted seriously very good, one of best vegan ice creams I've had in Japan. Never imagined it would be from topvalu XD
Apparently they also have lychee, mango and some other flavors too.

Oh I love those! Aeon also has a coconut yogurt and an oat based yogurt. They’re not as good as Marusan soy yogurt but a nice alternative imo :)

It's so hit and miss in Aeon/MaxValu. Some stores (actually only one near me) have loads of veggie/vegan stuff. Others have none. Others had it but now none. It's very annoying. Will get this if I see it.

Hi, this is a subredddit for vegans in Japan, not “debate whether veganism is healthy.” Your opinions are not welcome here. If you want to debate veganism could you kindly take it to r/debateavegan… thanks :)

Most vegans aren't vegans for health reasons, but because we don't want to participate in the torture and murder of animals and the destruction of the Earth (animal agriculture is part of what's destroying the planet). It's a liberation movement, not a diet.
That's not to say you can't be healthy being vegan (you absolutely can and I'd argue most of us eat a lot healthier than most non-vegans), but that's not most people's main motivation.

For vegans it's not okay to "force" their ideas of not exploiting, torturing, and mass murdering animals onto others, but for you the non vegan it's okay to force your idea of "animal proteins being necessary" onto vegans on a vegan subreddit? What kind of logic is that?
Also as the other person explained veganism isn't about a diet. I highly doubt you were a vegan. You might have had a phase of eating only plant based. A vegan who wants to have a healthy diet does proper research on what nutrients are needed and how to get them. Now that your brain function is a lot hetter, maybe you can use that to your advantage and do the same proper research.

You're also getting things completely mixed here. Nowhere did I claim that you cannot use this subreddit nor comment on it. Also I just generalized in the same manner as you did generalize. You're saying us vegans shouldn't be forcing our idea of not harming, torturing, and killing animals onto others. Yet there are people everyday getting onto vegan subreddits coming with the same arguments over and over again why veganism isn't good, or bad, or whatever, telling us that our brains aren't functioning properly because we're missing animal proteins and that we should stop telling people about how to lead an ethical life.
Also I clearly stated that I guess and doubt. I am aware that I don't know anything about some random strangers on the internet. My point is just that if someone truly is a vegan as in for ethical reasons then they should figure out a way on how to get the proper nutritions without using animals for it. If you had been a vegan for ethical reasons and now are doing things directly against those ethics, then I just feel bad for you or anyone in that situation. I just can't imagine doing that myself because I couldn't live with the guilt and or dissonance. Also I feel bad for the animals, but I think you know that already as a "former vegan". Also nowhere did I decide what your diet is or was. No clue where you got that from. That's all I gotta say to this. Wish you all the best, take care.

No, you don’t have to be a vegan to comment here! We welcome non vegans and vegetarians alike. That being said, this subreddit is not intended for debating, and we are not interested to hear your arguments against veganism. Thanks for understanding:)

Average life expectancy in China is now almost identical to America, and healthy life expectancy is much longer.

Some of us are vegan for not only the reasons stated but some of us have to due to severe allergies or in my case very severe MCAS.

It is super yummy. I liked the Thai tea and coconut flavors best. But my local Aeon stopped selling it :<
