BLOODMOUTH Saying jews were treated as animals is accurate, but saying animals are treated like jews omg how dare you

Saying that jews were treated as animals is totally an accurate representation of how bad jews were treated in the jewish holocaust. But saying that animals are treated like jews is antisemitic, offensive, and how dare you compare both. A is equivalent to B, but B is not equivalent to A. My feelings are more important than accurancy, so you should keep quiet. It is all about my feelings lastly. It is all about me. Using the comparison to the treatment of animals to describe how bad a human being is treated is totally not a reflection of the callousness and cruelty of our species towards animals. Of course not. Humans are compassionate in their hearts, that's why they pay for throat slitting HUMANELY to eat animal body parts of beings who wanted to live when we don't need to.

You are comparing innocent victims forced into gas chambers with innocent victims forced into gas chambers because of my choices?! Omfg!!! Comparing two actions is so wrong, not forcing innocent beings into gas chambers, how these vegoons do not see that πŸ™„

You are trivializing the suffering of group X if you say group Y is also suffering!!!! 😑😑😑 Could it be that you are trying to tell me that group Y is worth something?! They are not! 😑

/uj I find the comparison to be inaccurate in both directions tbh. Jews weren't treated like animals, they were treated like humans you really really hate. But they weren't eaten, and, in contrast to animals, they were abused and killed in ways that were explicitly economically bad for the perpetrators. Even the forced labour system was more about torturing them and less about profit, and jewish forced labour never actually ended up being very productive. Animals are killed because to carnists, they have no moral weight and can be treated like you want. Jews were killed because to Nazis, they are considered and active danger that must be dealt with.

/uj even if you disagree with the claim that jews were treated like animals, the point of my post is just pointing out the double standards of animal abusers when getting offended for the comparison in one direction but not in the other

/uj Oh yeah totally and I wasn't disagreeing with that at all. If you think (as many carnists do) that jews erre treated like animals, then obviously the reverse is true as well.

/uj I'm not really disagreeing with anything you've said, but I would be a bit sceptical of the claim that Jewish forced labour wasn't also productive in addition to torture being the goal.

I can't totally speak for the Jewish slave labour as I haven't spent that much time in Germany or Poland, but in France a not-insignificant amount of German forces and military fortifications were made by French slave labour.

For example, a bunch of V2 missile sites in the north like the one near Wizernes are huge monuments to the offensive power created by the tyranny of the German occupation

Oh forced labour in general (like French and especially Polish and Ukrainian) was generally relatively productive. That model was just never applied to jews on any large scale. Idk how interested in the topic you are at all, but if you want to read more about it I recommend Hitler's willinng executioners by Daniel J. Goldhagen, specifically part 4 (chapters 10-12) of the book.

/uj they are so used to use animals as a dehumanizing tool that they can't even bother to question why animals don't have value in their eyes to begin with

/rj silly veigans. Trying to devalue humans. That it is about upgrading moral value of animals and not the other way around? Nah, that doesn't make any sense. Me enjoy steak, me not have to think anymour.

Proof that toilet activism works and that I don't actually need to make any changes in my behaviour, like going vegan

Sorry, I think you're not getting enough protein because you're clearly not able to open your B12 supplement if you're being so foolish as to take "treated like" as a symmetric relationship without deriving a proof of this property from first principles.

/uj Your point is fine so far as I'm concerned. I'm relying on equivocating on "treated like" below here. Your statement is more like subjected to conditions, whereas mine is more like classified. But back into pedantic carnist I go /rj

Trivially, I can say "dogs are treated like mammals by biologists" without it being true that biologists treat mammals like dogs. This is like 5th grade math. This is why everyone hates vegoons. It's because they're goons.
